This is the replacement carbon filter for the AR PRO pure water systems.
This carbon filter is used in our pure water systems as a prefilter before the RO membrane.
It removes any sediments that may be in the incoming water source, as well as chlorine. Chlorine is often added to municipal water supplies to kill bacteria, but it will damage the RO membrane, that's why the carbon filter is used in the pure water systems.
It will fit perfectly into our AR PRO pure water systems. Just remove the old carbon filter from the housing, insert the new one, and you're ready to go.
